This project focused on our idea of "home." For me, I find abandoned buildings to be places of comfort and belonging. I integrated the five senses into my thoughts on the idea of "home," with each poster relating to a different sense. In order, the senses here are sight, sound, smell, touch, and taste. Since most of my photography focuses on these locations, I felt that it was fitting to use my ow
This branding project brings new life to Herman Miller's "Anatomical Loop" article published on the gaming chair section of their website. These are the pages of a booklet that would be included with the purchase of each gaming chair. I created an identity called Loop, which would theoretically be a sub-brand created by Herman Miller. I designed the logo, and chose to keep it similar to theirs to
This is a type poster I created based on the typeface Mrs Eaves. The text I used on the poster is all various weights of the font. I included the name, the designer of the typeface, each letter, number, and symbol, and brief descriptions of the typeface and the designer. I designed the three-dimensional "logo" on the left side of the poster to show off the beautiful features of the typeface. Each
I created these monograms using my initials. I explored many typefaces to use and chose Bodoni and Eurostile. I felt that they both created the most interesting shapes with the letters I was using. This is a favorite project of mine, as I enjoy creating logotypes and experimenting with the endless possibilities.
This is a climate change poster from a collaborative group project. We each designed our own poster focusing on the issue of air pollution. As a group, we decided on font, font sizes, font colors, and size of QR code. We also chose a specific location for each of our posters to make each one more personable. I chose the White Mountains in New Hampshire, and the imagery is a photo I took in that ex
This is the design I created for a playing card. The idea behind the project was to create 52 playing cards that related to a fact or characteristic about ourselves. I chose to incorporate my Italian heritage, and added a playful touch to the standard double-sided queen, using the colors of the Italian flag and using the stereotypical hand gesture most Italians are known for. The yellow-based colo
This project focuses on the idea of social media consumption and how it affects us as a society. The television stacks were taken from an actual photograph of mine. I carefully selected shadows of various individuals to "trap" into each TV. The main idea of the first image is to display how we are "trapped" by social media, particularly television. By placing the televisions outside, it creates th
This is a brand I created to accompany a branding project. This project included the brand name, the logo, the logotype, the mantra, and the product being sold by this brand. The product I created is a gps-enabled golf ball. It connects to an app to allow the user to locate their golf balls, track their stats, and share information with other users. The app includes a map with the exact pins for g
