I chose to focus on a theater setting, which is frequented by the couple in the story. I illustrated the seats to split between the couple, symbolizing the eventual "split" that happens to their relationship. I chose to keep the imagery mainly black and

This is an illustration based upon the short fable called "The Fox and The Crow." The fox uses cunning wit in an attempt to steal the cheese from the unsuspecting and naive crow. I drew this on scratchboard, using a scratch tool with various types of nibs to create details and textures.
